Shalamar hospital, Ltd

Shalamar Hospital was founded in 1982, built by generous contributions by its founders- Chaudhry Nazar Mohammad, Chaudhry Mohammad Hussain and Syed Babar Ali. The main objective of the founders was to establish a not – for – profit hospital, which would provide health care services to patients from all income groups, especially to lower and middle social classes. Hospital is owned and managed by the Businessman Hospital Trust. The Board of Trust comprises of 8 members who had been putting efforts in this joint endeavor to bring it at par with the international standards in health care sector. The hospital is located in the northern part of Lahore, cosmopolitan capital of the Punjab Province. The services provided at the hospital have moved with the times and provides high quality multidisciplinary services. From six specialties originally, now the hospital provides a comprehensive range of consultation, diagnosis and treatment services for almost all medical and surgical specialties through its hospital based clinical services and community based outreach programme.
